Nissan ARIYA Discussion Thread

I really like this suv. I cannot wait to drop off my frontier lease thats about to end!

I also had a Frontier prior to the Ariya. The Frontier was good but I definitely like the Ariya much more. Both great deals but the Ariya seems like better value for the money. It is also my introduction to an EV which I am liking more than expected.

Im really curious how the tires tread left will be handled at lease end. Hoping they don’t wear badly.

Is it possible to use that free offer and register a different make/model for it?

The Ariya is really growing on me but I only really charge it at home, hoping I can use it for my daily driver for max convenience driving (EQS)

Do you have an Ariya deal lined up already? For a platinum trim you can go down as low as $300/month first month DAS w/ NJ taxes.

Picked up an evolve + last week 55,800 msrp for 285 per month times 18 months, nothing else down in an upfront tax state.

Nice! I love the car’s interior, it’s so roomy and spacious, absolutely amazing for the price. Which tires do you have on it? I have the 20 inch Bridgestone Alenzsa, I think it’s fairly quiet and should last me throughout the lease. And I believe it needs to be at 4/32 or better upon return. I got the 18 month lease too, 10k miles, I don’t expect to need a new set but we’ll see.

NJ doesn’t tax EVs fyi

The terms of the EVgo Offer stipulate that you can only use the free ARIYA charging for the charging of the ARIYA, but I know people who have said it’s possible to charge any EV.

Just be advised that EVgo has the option of terminating your access to the program if you aren’t following the terms, though that seems unlikely.

Yeah, I’m wondering in practice if I can simply plug and charge with my EQS via the app and have it be free. Might go test it, just out of curiosity.

Anyone still shopping and looking for a good deal in NJ please feel free to PM me. I recently leased a platinum airy and may consider transferring. Matches some of the best deals posted here (beats all broker deals as well)

Only transferring because of upgraditis…

PM if interested.

Do you mean Luciditis? :stuck_out_tongue:

Be advised that according to the NMAC terms, you would still be liable for the car, even after transferring, so make sure if you do transfer, you’re transferring to someone trustworthy.

That’s right -I’ve actually done this once before successfully but it’s not without risk

This should work. From what I’ve seen with others, despite the EVgo ARIYA terms of service, the ARIYA promo is applied any charging done on the account, regardless of the vehicle being charged.

Depends on how you set it up, if you set it up as ā€˜Auto Charge’ then it reads the serial number

I’ve used my EVGO/Ariya account to charge other brands, and there are presently no restrictions enforced. I would advise against using plug and charge in this scenario, as that requires the transmission of your VIN. I’ve had similar success using EVGO/Bolt account(s) I have ā€œacquired.ā€

That’s what i’m assuming, I am enrolled in Autocharge+, does it make sense to unenroll it then?

If you plan to fraud it, of course.

Well, I wouldn’t go that far, it’d just be for research and scratching that knowledge itch!
