Newbie question about 2016 Infiniti Q50 2.0t Premium offer

Infiniti offers a $279/mo, 39-month, 10K miles lease of 2016 Q50 2.0t premium. The MSRP is $38,555. Net Cap cost is $27,575 (includes $700 acq fee).

$2,499 initial payment (includes first month payment). Lease end purchase price is $17,350 (+$300 purchase option fee). If I add the monthly payments for 39 months ($10,881) to these, the total “price” comes to $30,751.

Considering TRUECar estimate of this car for my Zip is $32,946, it looks like a good deal to me. Am I missing something?

Was going to ask you if tax was included in your posted monthly- but either way- it looks good to me.

You can usually do better than the manufacturer’s offer, which assume a selling price that most dealers will honor without questioning.

That said, this sample offer assumes a selling price of $29,095 ($27,575 net cap cost - $700 acquisition fee + $2,220 down payment) on a $38,555 MSRP car. That’s a huge discount – which makes me think there’s a ton of manufacturer-to-dealer cash on Q50.

I can’t comment too much on this deal specifically, but I was reading an Infiniti specific message board not long ago. It seems that buyers/lessees are getting pretty big discounts off of MSRP on Q50s. Obviously that varies based on model, but I think there are deals to be had on this model.

an Infiniti specific message board

Interesting. Do you happen to have the link to this message board?

Thanks.

It seems like it hasn’t been updated since the end of October, but you can probably work through it backwards to get an idea. I will warn you; since it’s an enthusiasts message boards, a lot of the people there leased the top level Red Sport 400, so you’ll have to wade through the posts.

This specific post from mid Oct stood out to me. It’s on the 3.0t, (mid trim level between the 2.0t and the 3.0t Red Sport). MSRP: $45,xxx Selling price: $34,xxx. http://www.infinitiq50.org/forum/infiniti-q50-dealers-pricing/1018-official-lease-deal-thread-267.html#post1079337
