New Truck Lease Help -

Found the site today and spent tons of time pouring through topics trying to determine how to get
best deal on a new truck - looking at F150, Silverado or Sierra. Not locked into any of them.

Previous dealer who i recently leased a Tahoe from has above mentioned vehicle that i really like. Never can tell what your getting.

55,830k - List Price/MSRP
48,739.76 - Sale Price - they are saying this is just dealer discounts with only $500 being
applied as current GM Customer

Looking at $3498 upfront for sales tax/fees.
Sales tax is $2,051.71
Title & Fees of $1401.41
PLUS first month payment (so close to $4k up front)

Received all mileage options - seeing 517-527 a month with 15k miles a year for 39 months.

Giving me $31,823.10 for Residual on 15k miles per year (i calculated 57%)
Money Factor of .00103

Really trying to be able to tell if I’m getting a good deal or not. See some offers others have received and this seems very high.

In addition confused why they can’t use other promos plus there “proposed dealership discounts”

Can anyone provide any guidance. I’m open to driving or having a truck shipped from another state. I live in VA.

thanks in advance, John

You might want to look at the GMC Denali. I’m in Texas so I have to pay the entire sales tax on the truck up front. It wasn’t the best deal I’ve seen on this site but I got a $64K truck for $553 per month with $0 down other than the first month payment. Everything else was rolled into the payment. The Denali has a good discount and higher residual value than the Chevy or the GMC Sierra. I also looked at the Ford but they didn’t lease nearly as well as the Denali.

thank you, Just the denali or other variations of the Sierra?

Just the Denali. Not sure why but the Denali’s residual value is higher than the Sierra. I was looking at the Sierra SLT. The Denali just leases better. Between rebates and dealer discount I got around 15% discount off the truck. The Sierra was a similar discount. Since the Denali had a higher residual it made the Denali a better lease deal for me.

Here is an updated quote. Still not budging much on the price, although this one is $0 out of pocket.
