New Tesla lease deals worth it?

, ,

Hey guys , first time posting here. Brand new to leases always financed. Was curious if anyone has looked over the newer lease deals from Tesla to see if they are worth it? Thanks in advance

only you can decide if something is “worth it” or not. there are cheaper leases for evs but who knows whether that makes them better or worse than a tesla. they all have their pros and cons.

The Tesla Money Factors are extremely high, so you are paying a lot of interest/rent charge to do a Tesla lease. On the other hand, they are now rolling the $7,500 tax credit into the deal, which makes the cars that much cheaper. It’s a good way to take advantage of the tax credit if you don’t quality.

My recommendation (if you don’t quality for the point of sale tax credit), would be to initially do the lease to get the tax credit, and then buyout the car and refinance somewhere else.

Yea I don’t qualify for that tax break anymore , that was my next question was if the 7,500 comes straight off the top of the MSRP. Similar to a rebate or something along those lines , if that’s the case then it might be better. I’m still very new to playing with the calculator for the deal. So i wasn’t sure the “ grade “ of their deals compared to others on here.

I mainly just need the wife to have a car to beat around town in that’s not my truck :joy:. She would probably only use it on the weekends on one day a week.

Yeah, lease it do not buy and use https://ts.la/martin14611 for another $1000 off :joy:

Which Tesla were you thinking of getting??? Model 3 would be the cheapest per se, $400+ and $2K DAS, Model Y a little bit more per month… EDIT: This is for 36/10K miles

Probably the cheapest Y , I’d love for it to have options like self drive and stuff. But not sure if it’s worth putting options like that in a rental basically. I see a ton of EV’s up on here , was curious about the tesla deals as to they are 5 mins from me.

Naah, forget about FSD, subscribe monthly if you want it… $99/mo
If you build a New Y RWD you can see what the monthly will be, set the DOWN PAYMENT to $0 and see what the DAS states, then minus the $1K referral I sent…you should be at $1500 DAS roughly.
The RWD has a 337 miles range (not really accurate but close enough).

Tons of cheap EVs in the Marketplace

“Best” deal depends on which loyalty/conquest you qualify for.

Personally, having owned Teslas previously, they made sense when they were virtually the only game in town but not anymore. Now there are many EVs that are cheaper for people who want to save money and there are many nicer EVs at very attractive payments for people who want a nicer experience & product. Tesla feels like the bizarro Goldilocks here. JMO.

Tesla just dropped leases by $50/month on the new model 3. I hate to say it, but I think these are pretty leasehackr worthy now! Standard deal is $249/month with $3000 down.

With a referral code $330/month with $0 down. Here’s my code if anyone needs one https://ts.la/moiz95509

Does this include the Sieg Heil package or is that extra?

Lease is great, now that the loyalty for Model 3 is $2500 off, plus if I use all my Tesla Referral cash I can get one for $290-$300/mo with $0 DAS out of my pocket …should I, shouldn’t I…
Then I can get rid of the 2022 Model Y Money Pit haha

I’ve been told that referrer cash can only be applied to a purchase, not a lease. Have you seen otherwise?

  • $500 Off of Your Vehicle Price for Lease

$2500 is only for cash or finance.

I’m talking about using the wallet credits (referrer benefits) you get from others using your referral link. It’s presently $500 per referral, up to 10 referrals in a year, so that’s an extra potential $5000 that can be applied. My understanding is “new vehicle purchase” only, not for leases.

I haven’t read the fine print-just assumed, but alas the “1” states that:

1* Tesla Credits cannot be reissued, transferred or redeemed for cash and are not valid toward the purchase of Tesla gift cards or alcohol.

Doesn’t say anything about applying it as Down payment for lease etc
Will see-if I decide to get one I’ll let y’all know :call_me_hand:

If not-I’ll just use them for Yearly Premium Connectivity Subscription, maybe FSD monthly, replace All tires, buy some merch, HEPA and all filters… they do expire after 12 months so I won’t allow that to happen :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Be aware that Tesla is sending out tax form for referals. I had a message in the app that I needed to submit my information (social and address) a few weeks ago. Today I recieved a document to tax the $1000 referral (purchased a second vehicle for myself and used it for super charging).
