New Possibility for Kia Stinger Hack - $3000 Secret Incentive

Wanted to share this incase anyone was wanting a Stinger. Could this be the start of a great lease deal opportunity even though the MF and Residuals are the best. Could score a $12,000+ discount off one.

Typo in the title? The secret dealer cash is $3k, while conquest is $2k (for V6 model).

Correct, I was reading something else. Fixed thanks!

So is this $3000 for Dealer cash, $2000 for conquest and whatever the lease cash is for the trim/months/miles? That seems pretty slick because the lease cash for a GT1 RWD 36/10 is $5600. So just need a dealer to play ball + give a decent dealer discount and the terrible MF (.00196 on the above example) may be able to be offset and still get a good deal.

I grabbed a car from a local dealer that has $6000 dealer discount listed. Assuming that is truly a dealer discount and I got my numbers correct (never sure if its taxed or not taxed incentives and I think TX is the last bubble for taxes at 6.25) I get a $379 payment with 0 down. Not awful for a $47k car.

I seem to recall that conquest does not stack with the lease cash. I read that somewhere but forget where - maybe Edmunds?

Why is this in Off-ramp?

It seems you are correct. I emailed a dealer asking about getting all these incentives stacked and they said that KIA won’t let them use the $3000 dealer cash or the $2000 conquest on a lease. He also said they only have tax credits on the Sportage at 1.2%. So in Texas leasing a Stinger is still a terrible deal with these things considered unless there’s another dealer around that has different rules.

Because there isn’t a lease specific question being asked, it’s not a shared deal, a broker isn’t posting a deal, it’s not a lease transfer. It is an informative thread that belongs in off ramp.

It’s probably the same as the loyalty incentive. Can’t be combined with lease cash.

It’s a TIP. It belongs in Shared Deals and Tips. (Share your recent deals or discoveries. No dealer or broker ads here.)

the original article does not fit the intent of that sub forum. It’s in the right place. No need to put so much thought into it.

Yea not too important, just was curious…

Has anyone been able to confirm this dealer cash incentive? I’m ready to lease a new Stinger and the dealer is offering the KMF $6300 rebate on a GT1 AWD 36mo. However when I mentioned this incentive he claimed to have no idea what I was talking about. He said there was nothing in their system. The dealer is in NY. Can anyone confirm the incentive?

I’m trying to figure out how to leverage this the best since my Sorento is up Aug 31. Right now the best offer on a Red 2019 GT1 AWD for a 36 mo 36K mile lease with $0 down is $556 per month. The price is $49105 MSRP with a dealer discount of $5,088.82. MF is 0.00197 and residual 52% and‬ is including the $6300 lease cash from KMF. 8.2 Leasehackr score but if I could get another 3k off then it jumps to a 10.

Any thoughts/help is appreciated!

No Idea on the additional lease cash, but if you can find one I recommend looking into a GT2 on a 24 mo lease. The heavier lease cash with a decent discount could fair better on a shorter term lease.

I doubt you’ll be able to combine dealer cash and lease cash. It’s likely that the dealer was simply lying to you. I don’t see why a dealer would admit to getting back end cash from the manufacturer to selling a car, that would mean eating into their profit.
