On a new 24, I’ve been able to get 8% off at a dealer while for a 23 demo they offered 14ish%
I went in to the dealer for these numbers and didn’t push much, so there is certainly more wiggle room
I’m not saying what you said is right or wrong, just about your comment. Appears that you do have some idea, so stick to it.

LOVE ventilated seats. I have them in my 2022 XC60 T8 Extended Range Inscription. I really can’t imagine life without them. Ultimate is also the only way to get Heads Up Display and that is something I can’t live without anymore. Yes I’m a spoiled snob.

Did they upgrade the HUD? It was trash in the 21 . Was it changed when they rolled out android OS?

I’m working two deals right now - will post numbers once I go over them more closely.
One is a MY2023 (new not demo or loaner) XC60 B5 AWD Ultimate Bright - the other is a MY2024 XC60 B5 AWD Ultimate Dark (not demo or loaner)
Is there any reason I should target one over the other? The 2023 has $1000 in lease cash and a higher residual is 57% with MF (after MSDs) of .000660. The MY2024 has RV of 55%, $750 in lease cash and MF (after MSDs) of .000550.
Is there any downside to the MY23 that I’m not aware of? I’ve never done MSDs before is there any reason I don’t want to leverage these?
These MFs aren’t correct (even removing the extra leading 0), and are wayyyy more than the allowed markup. Go get the programs for your targets and double check.
2% on the residual for the same term is real money

I prefer the appearance of the Bright over the Dark for me. Looks classier and more conservative. That being said, the 23 is the clear choice in my eyes

MY2023 - B5 Ultimate AWD Bright
MY2024: B5 Ultimate AWD Dark
This is what I pull from ratefinder. The base MF and RVs were validated on Edmunds before I signed up to be a super supporter. Did I transpose something wrong about the MF and RVs above?
I think I’m partial to the Dark theme but the color combination is better on the bright themed MY2023 now that I’ve heard good reviews on the Blonde Interior.
I think the MY2023 numbers will come out better but I wasn’t sure if there was a downside to getting “last years” vehicle.

You got kids? If no. Then there is nothing better than the blonde. If yes. Blonde is still the way to go. Black is boring.

I do have kids… But the primary kids car is my wives. But of course they’ll be in there a fair amount. One option is Blonde and the other is Brown. I am usually partial to the brown but it felt so dark with the black headliner.
What color car are you getting? Denim blue in the dark theme?
I wish I could find a denim blue w/ blonde. Black and Blonde is what I am leaning towards now.

Are you ok with an EV?
Would love to in the future - but not something I am open to right now. I already suffer analysis paralysis and getting my head around charging infra, do I have enough space on my tight box now to add 240v etc. etc.
