That is probably an issue with the car, not a scheme by the dealer. If you went way over on mileage, they wouldn’t get the money, Hyundai financial would. Unless this is in hopes of you ending your lease soon and leasing another Hyundai through them, I don’t know how they would benefit.
Should be very easy to document the problem. Make sure you do so, and then ask Hyundai to make it right.
Just start recording when you’re driving and it’ll be easy to show the delaer and use it later if needed at turn in.
Use your phone and record the odometer/speedometer as you drive. If the odometer s truly going 2X, that would be all the proof you need. Then let the leasing company know what’s going on, and your proof.
that is odd…never heard that before
but to be clear…is the trip summary showing incorrect info? how about the odometer…thats what is the important one…the trip summary can be reset …etc…the odometer cant be reset as easily
If its true Hyundai will probably buy the car back
Did you try the Ferris Bueller method? Jk
Does the word ‘kilometer’ mean anything to you?
Good catch…
Not a double, though
Get a life ursus. You must have been a real teacher’s pet… spouting off basic facts like it’s high level
You’re probably a babysitter who feels proud beating kids at Jeopardy.
Wow. Chill out. Just thought you were spot on with km and no one thought about it.
Lol.
