It should be if this dealer works out of state deals. Having dealt with Pennsylvania dealers I know a lot of them have zero clue about NJ taxation rules on EVs. Having said that, there are steps that can be taken to receive a reimbursement if you do get charged sales tax on an EV as a NJ resident, I just don’t know how dicey that gets when you are dealing with an out of state dealer.

In my experience, showing them the official page was enough to take off sales tax. Added a few minutes to redo the paperwork & get out the door but way better outcome than spending god knows how long to chase a reimbursement.

This form is really the only thing they need to do it point of sale but when they outsource all that type of stuff sometimes they don’t seem to know how to go off script.

momentun bmw has a 23 ix 50 loaner with 102k msrp. pretty loaded.

I inquired about this car and was told that it does not have lease support. Not sure if that’s true or not.
