This fully loaded car has been on the lot for over 350 days. Where do cars go if they don’t sell? Does it stay on the lot indefinitely? The dealer has taken $12,000 off… so far… how much negotiating room do I have here?
Your logic is perfectly fine, the question is whether the dealer has any common sense. Some just “know what they got”, especially since they’ve enjoyed it for almost a full year, lol. In theory, they should be very motivated to move it, especially if the lease support isn’t extended past 3/31. Try to escalate to their GSM to see if you can get them to do better.
Not knowing full details no one will be able to give you a specific answer on your numbers though. Try to put together a calculator. Sounds like a fairly loaded C300 at this discount? Pinnacle trim? I’ve seen some of those reach 64K+, interestingly enough all of those were dark gray on reddish brick color.
Auction?
Hard to say w/o knowing the MSRP, but are you getting ~20% off? How much more do you want?
More than likely because they are not open to reasonable offers.
Have you looked in the marketplace yet? unless you can negotiate a better deal than the marketplace what’s the point of wasting your time with these “I know what I got” folks
Southern California

Horrible deal considering c43s went for way less. Is this a loaner with 9K miles at Newport Beach? If yes, try Andrew Einhorn @LuxConcierge, he used to work there. They also have an even more loaded new one for 65,575. That one is black on red/black.
In case you’re OK with a less loaded car, Laguna has a black/black loaner with only 833 miles listed for 46,494. I can give you my contact there - easy to talk to, great service and speaks LH.
Or you can get a loaded $77K CLE450 for that payment although with MSDs - a lot more bang for your buck!
Where are you seeing CLE450s for that price?
DM me if serious, possibility to do better.
Those are solid deals. The new C class looks beautiful in black or royal blue.
Not the deal she was quoted at about 725/mo effective. Especially if it’s that loaner. The under 12K discount already includes all incentives, so nowhere near 20%.
I am talking about the C43 deal. I have seen C43 deals that people posted with 6ish payment/month. Damn, I guess I missed out.
@JennyB did you ever get your C? BTW, that CLE450 is still available and a better deal now.
