Need help to understand loaner vehicles

I’m currently inquiring about 2024 Lyriq loaners to lease. Do loaners did to a have certain mileage before the dealer will be able to lease/sell the vehicle? Or if it is listed on their site and marked as “Courtesy” and with a sale price then it can be leased? I was inquiring about a couple loaners from a dealer and he emailed back with this: “The 2 loaner service vehicles, which have to reach a certain mileage and also be retired from loaner service before being sold, but are still available, which is also why the discount is greater on those units! They will typically have between 2500-5000 miles on them!” Can I get some insight on how exactly these loaners work as far as leases go?

They usually give a bigger discount but a lower RV, so make sure you are getting a mich better price than a new one

The mileage range is brand-specific.

Determining which loaner vehicles can be leased isn’t always straightforward. If you haven’t already, you can try searching here to see if someone has discussed this for Cadillacs specifically.

4 months into 2025 and looking to get a
remaining 2024 Lyriq (new or loaner). Is $8K-$10K discount before incentives in the
ballpark now?
