I had bought a Benz C 300 4 Matic Coupe for a 36 month Lease and I’m having 24 months left to complete but due to Covid situation I had a job issue which I can’t afford to pay further.
I checked with Mercedes Financial and they mentioned that the lease transfer is taken away at the moment due to COVID.
Below are my options:
I tried to post in Swap-a-lease and Leasetrader websites but if Mercedes Financial doesn’t accept lease transfer I couldn’t do a transfer.
If I voluntarily give away the car at Mercedes, I’m gonna have a bad history on my credit.
Payoff the current car payments which I can’t afford.
Can anyone suggest a proper way so I can transfer my lease without any impact ?
Pretty sure Mercedes suspended all lease transferring.
The only real option I see is to sell the car to a dealer or third party. Or if you have the cash you can buy it out yourself (or finance the payoff amount).

Your best bet is to see if Carvana/Vroom/Shift/AlGo/Carmax will buy your car for as close to your payoff as possible, and pay the difference. That will be better for your credit than a surrender/repo.
