Got a deal from one of the dealer to purchase BMW X5 demo with just 192 miles on it. Getting $10.5k discount on sticker price before rebates. I have a negative equity on Tesla Model Y of 8k after trade in…need to pay $10k down to bring monthly payment to $1015
also Volvo XC90 PHEV ultra lease for $617/month with 10k miles and no MSD or down payment.
Which one to consider. Pls advise
More details would help but from a financial perspective, the Volvo is the better deal since you are not putting anything down. To put $10K down and still have a payment of $1,015/month is absurd on BMW or any similar car IMO.
I’m assuming your listed monthlies are for leasing.
Personal preference decision is up to you on what car you like better.
$10k I am paying towards Tesla negative equity where I am paying $907/month and still 55 months left.
BMW is a purchase option with sticker price $73k. After discount and rebates it’s coming to $60.5k. Dealer says it’s age old demo with 190 miles on it.
Volvo one lease deal ($82k - $617/month lease sticker price) with $0 down and no MSD.
I want to get out of Tesla and move to a luxury SUV segment.
You are willing to take a $10K hit just to move to a luxury SUV that will depreciate as quickly as the Tesla? If so, the Volvo is the better financial choice.
Just curious how do you like it compared to the Model Y. I’m looking to get out of my Tesla too. Leaning towards the BMW X5 50e but, that Volvo deal seems amazing.
Hi! Curious if this payment is with your negative equity rolled into your payment. We have about $15000 negative equity. Looking to put about $7500 down, and use some of the PHEV rebates/other Volvo rebates to help us get a lower monthly payment. Currently paying 905 a month (YUCK).
