I’ve been a long time reader but just barely made an account on here. I need some help. I reached out to a Lexus dealership near me about a 2021 Nx F Sport. This is what the dealership sent back to me. I want to make sure I’m getting a good deal.

It is always in your best interest to work out what a good deal is before you ever talk to a dealer if you want to set yourself up for success.
When you don’t, the dealer will tell you how much they want you to pay… Like this abismal offer.
This appears to be thousands of dollars too high.
Horrible deal, maybe find a broker or look at 2020’s, I wouldn’t even go back to this dealership.
Agreed. The foundation has been laid and it’s not structurally sound.
Red flag, move on to the next dealer.
I was actually looking at the 2021 NX F-sport in Nov. and was able to find a dealer in Houston that seemed pretty good. The incentives are different for Dec. but the tax credits are huge in TX for a lease deal and I recall getting traction at ~$450 with max MSDS. I’d go ask Edmunds for the latest MF, RV, and Incentives. DM me if you want the dealer.
The dealer literally gave you zero discount…full price for a vehicle that in its current form will be replaced next year by its next generation. I`d ignore this deal and chalk it up as a learning experience.
Excellent lease advise from the seasoned vets, my 2 cents for NX:
Factory MSRP to Advertised invoice equates to about 6.3%.
Folks on here are offering pre-incentive discount (didnt include their dealer fees, broker fees and some other fees): 11%
Target: 11%
Varies by zip code (double check) but
Lexus MFG direct to customer rebates (this is automatic if you qualify. Pre-incentive is what you should be negotiating at base mf/residual for your term).
First month lease payment is covered by Lexus this month.
$1000-Loyalty (must have at least 1 lexus (toyota does not qualify) in the household)
$1750-Lexus Lease Cash
$1000-Military or Grad (cannot combine both).
I know! I told the salesman he literally gave me 1.7% discount. Which is a joke!
I emailed the salesman. Hopefully he doesn’t ignore my email.
It really doesn’t matter. You need to move on to a new dealer.
