Need Help from Hyundai Experts on Incentives and Ioniq 5

I am interested in leasing Ioniq 5 SEL RWD and have talked to a few dealers, but I am really confused by what incentives they are running, as the terms/wording are quite different from their website
Here are some examples

  • $7500 EV Rebate
  • $7500 Lease Residual Credit - is it the same as the above $7500?
  • $5000 Retail Bonus Cash - is it stackable with the $7500?
  • $5000 HMF DEALER CHOICE BONUS CASH - I assume it is an alternative of the above $5000

So basically the incentives now are $7500 + $5000 + store discount ($1k-3k) + special discount (first responder, graduated student, military) . Unfortunately I am not qualified for the new $2500 loyalty program. How many % off MSRP can we usually achieve on Ioniq 5 SEL RWD trim? I am in SoCal area.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Get a hold of me if you haven’t already.

Haven’t seen anyone do lower leases than me all May/June

Anything “retail” is generally for purchase/finance. Cannot be applied to leases.

From the website https://www.hyundaicarsofbowie.com/explanation-of-incentives.html, the Retail Bonus Cash can be applied to lease?

Hi Jeff,

Could you shed some light on how this $5000 Retail Bonus Cash works? From your price it’s not stackable right?

What’s the trim and annual mileage?

Nice find!

That sounds like it was “written” ie taken off the internet by their intern. Do not be surprised if you hear it’s inapplicable to leases once you’re actually in their finance office.

Yeah, I called the dealers and they can’t apply it to lease.

The $7500 EV Rebate IS the lease residual credit. You cannot get it with finance. The $5000 HMF Dealer Choice Bonus Cash is if you finance with Hyundai. You can stack the special discounts and loyalty with either choice. You can also get any state specific rebates with these, look into them.
