I am newbie. I have following along and reading to understand the process for a while now.
My big question is how do you get the dealer to give you the incentive mf rate.
I found a great deal on a demo and the finance guy wouldnt give me the incentive rate on the calculators for tier 1 credit. I qualify for it but he said that is the discounted “buy rate” and the “sell rate” is higher.
I also was very confused as to why 71k was on the sheet when the vehicle msrp is 59k.
They also tried to tell me the 7500 EV makes cash bonuses go away because those are for paying cash. Which I dont believe is true. How can I tell if they are capturing something back for profit for themselves?

Is this for a Wrangler 4xe? If so, $325 a month with $3K DAS sounds like a good deal. Don’t worry about the $71K. It does not factor into your deal. You are getting $8K discount plus $7500 lease credit. I am not sure if there are currently other incentives also out there for a Wrangler 4xe
The cash bonuses currently are purchase-only incentives that only apply if you don’t use the 0% financing offer.
You’re a super supporter, so you can easily look up to see what the actual incentives are that apply on a lease. On the 4xes, with a lease through SFS, you get the $7500 ev incentive and then you should make sure to get the TDM code from jeep.com for the $1000 TDM. The only other possible incentives are if you’re military/first responder or have some other off-nominal targeted incentive.
As for buy rate vs sell rate, that’s just the dealer choosing to mark up the money factor. They have no obligation to give you buy rate. It also is irrelevant if you put together a target offer based off of buy rate and then present an offer to the dealer.
As for the $71k on the sheet, that’s the maximum advance value. It doesn’t impact you. It’s the highest “loan” value that the bank would fund, so it becomes relevant if you were trying to roll in a bunch of negative equity, etc.
