How does this deal look? I am located in NC, Car is in SC. It’s a trim above the Standard version that qualifies for the 149/mo with 1K down. Its a 2024 VW ID4 Pro.

idk if you can get a broker to help from Houston, but I went into VW Cypress in houston TX yesterday and lowest they came out to was 1500 drive off. 12k miles at $250 incl taxes. That was for a Pro as they were all out of Standards

Any particular reason for the ID4?
Arguably better deals out there depending on what you’re driving now ie which loyalty/conquest you qualify for.

Yeah I can explain a bit, It may seem odd but my son started driving on our ID4 and knows it well so he will take it. It’s also been safe and we like the drive more than the Ioniq 5, EV6, and safety rating for Prologue and ZDX isn’t great. I’m also not loyalty for most brands. Agreed that it’s probably not the best car for most but it works for us very well and I’m aware of what i’m getting into.
Was able to sign for a standard for 161/m with 1000down. In addition 800 to the broker.
Here’s what i’m going forward with. Gave up negotiating myself, it was not easy to get dealers to get close. Let me know what you guys think about the deal

In general, with the way compensation plans work, a little FI income is the best way to get the individual on the other side to greenlight a low- or no-profit deal.
Can you tell the dealership name from where you got it?
This was through a Broker, the dealer most likely will not replicate but it was Paramount VW of Hickory
