Am I understanding correctly that the process is I give you $5k, I take over an $875/mo payment and I get the lease after paying GM a $625 transfer fee. And you’re arriving at the $799 effective based on your having canceled the aftermarket plans that will give $2500 at end of lease?
Correct. $2500 basically give you “free payments” at the end, not a check to you. Money goes back to GMF, who just deduct it from final lease costs.
It will be even lower now cause my payment is due tomorrow anyways
