National deals negotiable?

When you see the lease deals posted on the car company’s website. How negotiable are they usually? Like Honda has the H-RV for $189 with $2299 down. How negotiable is that? Also, if I bring that up with the dealer how do I go about getting that lower?

National Deals are great for dealers as they are very profitable. Get away form the mindset of leasing a car based on the monthly payment and out of pocket expense at lease signing. Learn the MSRP, Residual, Money Factor based on the miles and term. Reduce the Purchase Price below the MSRP as much as possible, then figure out the incentives to be added to that. The residual can’t be changed but the Money Factor can be so be careful with that. Search this forum, how to lease a vehicle and you will find the advise you need.

Thanks for the quick advice. One more question. How do I figure out what the incentives are?

Good sources are manufacturers websites (i.e. Chevy.com,), edmunds.com and costcoauto.com. The are also others.

Thanks. I’ll see what I can figure out. I’m limited to max budget of $200 per month so I’ll have to get used to trying to negotiate the total price.

The national deals usually say in the fine print that their payment is calculated by an average sale price, so ymmv on getting there. Might do better, might do worse.
