MSRP on 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Been talking to 4 dealerships so far and most I’ve gotten is 1% off MSRP and then 2500 in rebates. I’ve leased 3 other Santa Fe’s and was almost always able to get 5-10% off MSRP. Are these selling so fast they can sell for only 1% under MSRP?

I’m looking for:
2019 or 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe
Limited or 2.0 T
36/10 on the lease

In the Chicago area.

Thanks!

Your first problem is going to dealerships to talk numbers. I usually start by plugging info into truecar to get numbers from a variety of dealers to start with. I was able to get 7% off a palisade recently. Sante fes are definitely not selling as well as they are.

Just updated. Forgot the word talking. All communication has been by email.

Find out the MF/RV from Edmunds in your area

Then I would start counter offering numbers and see if any are willing to bite.

Good idea. I have tried this with one dealer so far and they didn’t seem interested in negotiating. I will keep trying this.

These aren’t like the Palisades… there’s tons of them on lots, at least around me. I was negotiating for a purchase, which IMO makes much more sense than leasing on this model with current incentives, and had gotten to close to 10% off MSRP.

Was your 10% off MSRP including the incentives or before?

Before. I was quoting with the 0% financing offer so there were no cash off incentives.
