MSRP for 2025 Ioniq 5 SE

Looking at this deal for Southern California (LA area) Pre-Negotiated Deals (PND) – Lease Smarter, Faster

The MSRP for the deal is near $48.5k, but at the dealer these start at $39k even for the 2026 model. Wondering what could cause such a discrepancy for the same base trim?

Can get an insurance quote and ask, but curious if anyone knows.

That’s a good question.

@community_moderators: do you think the MSRP is a typo? Even selecting AWD and every accessory on the Hyundai build website doesn’t result in a $48K MSRP (unless I did something wrong).

Pricing for an SE standard range trim starts at $35k before destination fees, tax and title. Check out pricing on Hyundai ‘s website.

It’s because 2026 models had a substantial price cut vs 2025. The PND is a valid MSRP for 2025 model.

That’s not a good deal unless you’re in an emergency and can’t wait

MSRP doesn’t mean all that much for leases so the fact that Hyundai cut the MSRP for 2026 after federal tax credits expired on 9/30/25 doesn’t mean all that much for lessees. Yet.

Oh, weird, I could’ve sworn I had clicked on the 2025 for the build and price. That does seem to account for the price difference.
