There are 70 of these unsold in the entire country. 5% is not a bad discount on them right now, especially in AZ.

Unless you absolutely have to, getting a brand new model right at introduction = paying top dollar.
There’s a lot more to a lease than just discount. Over the last year we’ve seen BMWFS reduce MF and/or improve loyalty rebates when needed to juice volumes.
What’s the RV, MF and lease cash on this?
What conditional rebates do you qualify for?
Within the next year, maybe as early as December, programs should be better.
I hear ya - the timing isn’t great for me but it has to do with my lease coming due and I’m already on extension. This would be for putting in for an order, so I know that’s 6-8 weeks out and during that time if it goes down I can pick up the better rate. But I know I can’t go back on the MSRP discount once I sign and that’s why I was asking. For this deal MF is at base (right now .00220) and $2000 total in rebates/loyalty.
Realistically if you want a 540xi, the deals won’t be strong. They are SUPER hard to come by, so BMW doesn’t need to heavily incentivize them.
BMW has learned this over the last few years, they don’t overproduce anything but the volume models now, everything else stays scarce, with little to no money factor subvention and poor rebates.

Ask about an order vs. in-stock as well. Relatively new car, but if the dealer is sitting with allocations (it’s not scarce like an M car), there’s no reason they shouldn’t discount it.
It is scarce, that’s the thing. I have the data, there are very few of these available.
