I just sold my BMW lease(expiring in August) to a MB Dealer (their parent company also owns BMW) to trade-in for an EQS over the weekend. I have MSD on BMW. I called the BMWFS today to ask for the MSD refund. BWMFS claimed that they could still deduct disposition fee and any wears and tears on my car from the MSD. I’m bit confused as I thought selling the lease will avoid these fees. Any suggestion ? Appreciate the help !
My first instinct is that that’s the rote answer some moron read off a script. You should get a check for your MSD in the time it takes Accounting to issue them.
