Has anyone tried to ask for their MSD’s back while in the midst of a lease, under the assumption their money factor would increase to what it would have been prior to putting MSD’s down? It would be interesting to know as I know some people are hesitant of MSD’s because they have to wait the full lease term to recover their MSD’s.
I don’t think that is a possibility since you are in a binding contract and agreed to terms for the Length of the lease. You can’t just expect them to refund your MSD and raise your money factor in the middle of term.
Similar to putting a security deposit on an apartment lease and then midway asking for half back and offering them to raise rent by $100. If my tenant came and asked, my first guess would be that he is about to trash the place and bounce
