It’s finally warm out and because of the quarantine, there is barely any traffic out. So the exotics are coming out of storages

Good use of NYPD/first responder resources at this time
I was fully expecting that it was a kit car. And yes the real ones are 40 mil+ so I doubt there was a 40 mil car driving around the Philly suburbs in Nov of 2015! But I still drove behind this guy for about 3 miles with my mouth open!
UPDATE: Police have confirmed to Fox News Autos that the driver was Benjamin Chen, who was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs and Reckless Driving. Five cars, including the Gemballa, were damaged in the incident.
Road & Track has posted security camera footage of the moment the Gemballa lost control and crashed into the parked cars:
This story has been updated with additional information
Such a damn shame what happened to that Gemballa Mirage GT.
That car was seriously one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen.
The crash has literally been all over instagram today from every car news outlet.
Ben Chen is worth some big money too so he will probably get out of it like it was nothing.
He’s also crashed a Mclaren 12C and a Murcielago SV with a Manual (1 of 5 in the world at the time)

Chen stated that he was “extremely” involved in its design, saying, “This is probably my favorite part of the buying experience of a car, the spec and design process. I am extremely particular, down to every nuts and bolts detail. Nothing on any one of my cars both in and out was not carefully thought about. I always have a very clear vision of how I want my cars to look, I knew exactly what my Gemballa Mirage would look like before I even got my first CGT in 2009. 5 years later, it’s a dream come true.”
Its just hard to read this part and believe anything
Ugh, I meant to post these under my personal account; sorry!
Wasn’t he the 4th owner?
Check vinWIKI.
My Aunt has 25-30 cars, old vettes, new vettes, a couple ferrari’s, 5 s-classes
Once I get to their new warehouse will post photos. Otherwise, we are boring
What does your aunt do for a living, rob banks? lol. J/K of course.
Almost lol, her husband my uncle passed and left her all the cars. She didn’t have the heart to sell them… even though she knows nothing about them.
the 5 s-classes kill me, so random.
The cars I know of in the fleet (some of the older ones I don’t know)
2019 S560 Cabriolet (probably under 200 miles)
2004 S500 (2x matching) (both 30k miles)
2007 S550 4matic (15k miles)
2017 S550 4matic (1k miles)
2019 Navigator, this is the only car that is really used
2020 Range Rover Sport (son’s car who can’t drive yet but they bought it anyway)
2009 Ferrari F430 Scudiera, 400 miles
2009 Corvette Zr1 low vin, 80 miles on it
2012 Corvette Zr1 7k miles onit
2014 Maserati Quattroporte GTS, 1k on it
I can understand why the S-Class coupe might not survive into the next generation, but the coupe and cabriolet are both SUCH great looking cars. I hope she occasionally drives it around the block or something.
It was a gift she got from her husbands business partner and family friend…
She will never drive it, she only drives Navigators or Escalades for 2yr leases
Husband bought her the quattroporte for her just before her death… nopee, just put 1k miles on it in 6yrs
Is she looking to adopt a son?
Wow looks so much better after covering up the “swoosh” of the headlights and the front splitters… literally the only ugly parts of an otherwise beautiful car
