Fixed! Thanks for flagging
that is the most subaru subaru in existence
I don’t understand this stupidity on BMWs with shifted plates. Does this guy really think that that looks better than center mount because he saved 2 holes in a bumper?
Tow hook plate holder to avoid the front plate bracket. I think it’s worth it. But it doesn’t look better. Depends on how PITA the cops/meter maids are.
To be fair it’s not just bmw. At least not around here. I see them a lot on Audi and Alfa Romeo too.
Beats the luxe cars that have the front plate wire tied to the bumper. Saw that a few times lately on some expensive cars. One I believe was a Porsche
In California I’d probably choose this before drilling or using a tow hook:
Yes it’s DMV approved. I actually just go without a front plate out here. Nobody is getting pulled over for them and it’s just a fixit ticket (unless they use it as an excuse to pull you over for some other reason).
What’s patented? It looks like a sticker.
Looks that there was a granted patent on the use of stickers that have vehicle identification on them and applied to vehicle bumpers.
This just reconfirms my long standing belief that US patent office needs to be disbanded.
The cars that I don’t have front plates on. I have small suction cups on the plate and leave it in my trunk
I only worry about meter maids. Some places I’m at they charge $80 for no front plate. It gets annoying quick.
hmmm…
- Do you get a lot in a Nissan Kicks?
- You must get a lot of tickets
- And you bought a used Nissan car from a Ford Dealer.
People with that type of “wit” are just asking for problems. Had a buddy with a bumper sticker “bad cop no donut”. The amount of “completely unrelated” tickets he got was completely not worth the cheap chuckle.
Today on - cars Curtis sees his classmates driving -
Excellent new body style chalk Cayenne Coupe
A normal G-Wagon (plate might be worth more than the car)
And an AMG GT 53
