I have a 33 month 10K lease. The question is are the 10K miles per calendar year or for a 365 day period?
Can I drive the car without going into excess mileage 30,000 miles or 27,490 which is the proportional mileage for 33 months?
You have mostlikly 27k+ miles for the duration of the lease.
There is a section on the contract that clarify this.
Yea, it’s pro-rated based on your contract date, not calendar year. Just check your contract to see exactly how many miles are listed. It should be the ~27k.
My last lease was 42 mo / 7.5k mile/yr, my contract shows the allowable mileage at exactly 26,250.
Not every contract is written that way.
Some of them just say f.e. millage allowane 10k miles per year.
It was discussed here lately
Just checked the contract. It does not say specifically 27k but it says 10k per year prorated to the length of the lease. So 27k for me.
Isn’t that 27,500?
10,000 / 12 x 33?
Yes, I simply rounded it for the posting.
