National General rates have been good lately
As someone who has spent over 10 years in the insurance industry I can tell you that you honestly have to shop. Each company has their niche at different times. They all want to keep a balanced book of business and rates will change depending on where they see a weakness or a profitability. A company that gave your neighbor a great rate might give you a horrible one cause of an accident or they have raised rates in the area or the specific car they are driving. Unfortunately their isn’t one answer to this question.
