Mercedes has announced it will take full legal responsibility for its DrivePilot system. It will also be able to comply with road safety laws including sirens and roadsigns.

Pretty similar to the Traffic Jam Assistant on the BMW’s which also works only till 40mph speed MINUS the legal responsibility 
of course. Pretty helpful feature no doubt but would love to see how this handles on merging lanes.
