Does anyone know possible discount on Mercedes GLS 600 and EQS 680. Thanks
I am still disappointed nobody on LH has hacked a Maybach yet. I wish you the best of luck stacking the $20k loyalty and the $7,500 EV thing on top of a massive front end price cut.
I know someone is trying on the EQS MAyback but nothing on the GLS maybach. It’s like 3k a month with 15% off on the GLS lmao
I visited couple of dealers yesterday to lease EQS 680. I started the negotiation with 25% discount and end getting 23% dealer discount. I do qualify for loyalty. I am going to sign the deal today. Its about $1350/month with $4k drive off for a EQS 680 with $197k msrp. I am not a good negotiator. I think 25% discount is easy to get. The EQS 680’s are sitting in the lot for more than a year.
What was point of this thread
No idea re strengths of this deal but a generic few observations/comments/suggestions right off the bat:
- Start with a calculator with your target numbers.
- Stop going into dealers and contact them outside their home turf.
- Ask for a GSM, this car definitely deserves a little higher-up attention, esp since these do not move.
- Your $4K DAS id just about your 2% shortage - go for it and lose that DAS! Plenty of rebates to cover the drive.
- Look into MSDs, that should save you about 10% monthly and about 12-13% annualized. Even better if the dealer agrees to put MSDs on a card (rare but possible!)
- If all else fails, reach out to our resident dealers and brokers here. Seems like 0 DAS, MSDs, ~$1200 should be doable, again basing it strictly on your posts.
GL!
Is the EQS Maybach actually worth it for anything other than a rap music video? The only Maybach worth consideration is the S in my humble opinion. And that’s with a chauffeur.
I haven’t signed the deal. I am need to know if anyone got more discount than what I negotiated before I sign the deal
Thanks for the input. But i cant do msd’s since the MF is almost zero or rebate except loyalty. The maximum broker discount I saw in this forum is 20%. Of course more discount is possible. The units I saw yesterday were dusty inside, means they were in the dealers lot for more than a year.
If you are getting 23%, when the best you saw on here was 20%… That should be an indicator that you should sign. EQS680 is a joke of a car, you can get an AMG for far less with same bells and whistles. I was offered $1200 $0 das on one but I rather drive EQS AMG for $500 a month
30% off before $20k loyalty and before $7,500 and you’ll do the deal?
The Maybach 680 has a refrigerator in back for your CHAMPAIGNE! Your AMG just has rattles in the headliner.
But one month’s insurance in a Maybach 680 is probably the same as your one-pay on your EQS 580.
To rekindle your interest in the fancy jellybean
I ended up leasing the eqs 680 for $1350/month with $3k DAS. In my opinion eqs 680 is totally different car compare to eqs amg or 580. It very luxurious and smooth. Bold exterior look.
Crazy someone actually did it!!! Maybach!
Trophy garage?!
What color? Definitely wanna see some pics
Congrats on the new ride. Not sure though if you’re trying to convince someone or yourself that 680 is that different from other EQS. Even base 450+ is very smooth and luxurious.
The 680 is still the same jellybean body with different rims (arguably less attractive IMHO), two tone paint and different fake grill. The main differences are back passenger quarters.
As Car & Driver put it “The EQS680 is softly sprung and specially tuned for passenger comfort, not sporty driving. But its quiet operation and low-speed maneuverability make it ideal for shuttling around town and providing limo service.”

And then there is Forbes with their constant minivan comparisons. All the praise seems to be equally applicable across the whole EQS line other than the powertrain shared only with the AMG sedan.

My AMG has same executive package as EQS Maybach… just doesn’t have fridge, flutes and such. I am never going to use that crap. I mean for $1300 a month, not a bad deal but the car is nothing to rave about. Maybe some thanksgiving chatter
