Mercedes GLC300 AWD - deal or no deal?

Looking to lease Mercedes GLC 300, AWD with premium package, multimedia package and driver assistance. MSRP is $51,865. The lease offer I have right now is:

Sale Price $46500
15K miles/yr
$4,300 down
36 months
$486/month

Any thoughts on if this is a reasonable deal?

That down payment is about $120 a month more effectively. Either way, that’s a big chunk of change to be out if the car is totaled or stolen. We always say to not put anything down.

If I was to put $0 down, would this effective lease payment of about $600/month be a decent deal?

Mercedes doesn’t lease that well, especially in comparison to a BMW, but on a $51,000 car, I would expect the payment to be closer to $550. However, search the forum. I’ve seen GLCs going for A LOT less than this.

I second what was said here about putting too much down. There is certainly a much better offer to be had. What zip are you registering the car in?

Thanks for feed back. I was able to negotiate to $3,000 down and $499/month. Seems reasonable, but always open to better deal. My zip is 27517.

Look at the electric version as they seem to be leasing better.
