I’m officially out. I came to the realization last month that MB will never firesale these. I’d imagine you’ll be able to buy them at auction at a 50% discount to what they’re going for now in like late 2026 or mid 2027, but there is absolutely zero value in these rn, literally zero. For now they’ll just be a joke for anyone with any knowledge, and MB won’t be able to fight the depreciation once they’re on public markets (i.e. auctions), but they’ll do what they can for now to keep the G prestige intact. I suspect these get discontinued within 2-3 years.
ETA: Has anyone gotten any quotes? I’m genuinely curious.

The Benz V8 thread and other G580 thread have a combined total post count over 1,000… but neither thread contain a LH user getting a Benz V8 or G580.
I’m thinking this forum is more for shitposting than it is for hacking Benz leases.

Yeah looking at some of the saved G580 … about 15% of them actually delisted during August. So either they were sold or bought back by MBUSA for other uses/fleet/marketing.
Way more G580 got delisted than Escalade IQ last month… and there are more Escalade IQ’s out there.
Assuming they cut supply of these out of Graz, this is about 7 months supply. Not too shabby and something they can manage keeping incentives targeted to the wealthy. Broke-ass plebes cannot be seen repping G Wagens.

Saw a quote for a G580 msrp 182,370. 20K off plus the 9500 rebate. 5k DAS 48 month 2109 with 10k miles a year.
