They wanted to move it — lease support was ending

I got caught up in EQS palooza and went to drive a unicorn loaner today for President’s day. 100% do not recommend. Awful styling, sub par interior by mercedes s class standards and unresponsive driving dynamics. Get this car only if you like the 3 pointed star, being the cool kid with an environment friendly sedan and just like the hack.

Nobody in their right mind is gonna enjoy this car.

Yeah - I agree - but I unloaded a Subaru that I purchased and was paying ~$649/mo

The car is just too damn heavy - probably gonna give it to a family member and get something spicy - maybe the DBX

What exactly does this mean? Are they unable to lease a 2022 after January 2023?

Congrats on the deal. Best NE deal I received from a dealer was this:

My etron expires in 11 months. This could be a nice replacement. How is the real world range?

this car is absolute trash. it has zero redeeming qualities. source: i flipped one last year.

Range is ~400 miles

For the MSRP yes - for a short term lease it’s OK —

Dudes paying almost as much for palisades

That is really solid with a 100+ kWh battery on board. Etron has 93 kWh and 89.5 is useable but she is heavy. Average 2mi/kWh. 3 miles if hvac is OFF.

I don’t know about the drive modes, but, from what I gather from reading diff articles, it happens anytime you have some level of regen braking turned on.

If that’s a new unit, 7% off MSRP does not look that appealing. What was the RV?

For folks looking to snag any remaining loaners, aiming for 20% off pre-rebates could make the EQS LH-worthy.

Also 2 years of fast charging for freeeee

That’s right! According to yt reviews it should reach 100% in 31min under ideal condition, and if the charger works right lol lately my EA stations have been bad and this is my only mean of charging up.

That sounds unrealistic unless there’s a YUUGE buffer…

Even then that’s a crap ton of current to dump into a pack continuously.

Pics?

It means the captive in this case MBFS will no longer have a lease program for the car. Typically you’ll see support for 2022’s end in the 2nd quarter of 2023 in normal years. Obv it’s make and model dependent but I’d say the above covers most captives.

The EQS says it pulls 100kwh on the actual car FWIW.

Usually according to owners it dumps 79-80kw in ~30 min.

20-100% is like 45-60 mims. 20-80 can happen in 2X minutes.

10-80 is ~ 30 min on a 200+kwh charger
