i thought the EQS comes with the edge to edge screen? this one just looks like the standard S class vertical screenā€¦ was that just a concept car?

Itā€™s a 7k option in the 450 while standard in the 580

Only avail on higher trims of the 450+ iirc

Mine doesnā€™t have it either

The weird brake behavior youā€™ve noted has been roundly criticized (at least in US auto mags). The writers have said the brakes are really disturbing to use.

Even in normal? Only time i noticed it in our eqs suv was during the adaptive cruise control. Pedal moved away when it was auto.atically slowing down.

You guys are killing me! Make fun now but mark my words in 6 months itā€™ll be raining lease deals!

Iā€™ll be sure to lobby MBFS to let me transfer the EQS and Iā€™ll get an M4 or M3 :), then stick my dad into a 540 or X3/5

From your mouth to the lease hackers godsā€™ ears

Drive for the summer and let it go in Nov, December '23 ā€“ typically the really good deals appear Jan-March

Better hope thereā€™s equity to trade since MBFS no longer allows transfersā€¦ unless that policy has changed?

There will be noooooo equity in these.

Theyre worth nutzing!

This is the problem with MB right now. Equity continues to :arrow_lower_right: and the inability to transfer out makes for a very difficult exit strategy.

Can you please share a calculator link? I donā€™t understand how you got to that lease payment even with that discount and the $7500 credit. Itā€™s still over $70K out the door meanwhile dealers want $1200 a month for a $62K M340. I know different brands but Mercedes historically leases like crap let alone now.

There is no getting out of these.

I understand the appeal as far as lease payment compared to MSRP goes, but beyond thatā€¦there ainā€™t much.

Kinda surprising

.00184
53% residual
~25% discount without the $7,500 credit

The crazy part is MB financial bumped the residual 5 points in feb compared to Jan - I got this in Jan

With macans, etrons, and eqs, 2023 is turning out to be a good ā€œhackrā€ year

The discount you got, was it based on miles or just because it was a loaner? The local MB dealer has a 2022 EQS loaner, but itā€™s only got 4 miles on it. I guess no one here wants to drive an EQS loaner.
