Mercedes CLA 45 Lease

I’ve looked and I know everyone is saying you can get a C43 for the same price. I’ve tried numerous dealers and have been unable to crack below $700 on a C43 lease. This is the quote I have for a CLA 45, I prefer the look of this vehicle over the C43 anyway. Is this worth negotiating, I’m looking to be sub $600.

That’s a hideous payment for that car, imho.

At that amount why not buy it?

Absolutely. I want to be sub $600. Just don’t know if that’s even possible and worth still pursuing for it. At the end of the day, it’s still an entry level Mercedes with a nice engine

I like the look of them but it’s not a great platform and it’s still ultimately just a 4 banger for $60k. I’d go for a Golf R, $20k cheaper, better to drive but leases badly similar to this. Financing is often the better option for these more niche performance cars.

Agreed. I’ve seen numerous threads of people hitting low 500s on a C43. Shouldn’t this be doable with a CLA?

I don’t think you are getting an actual amg for 49k, just my opinion though

I agree. But I’m only in college and can’t ask for too much. As dumb as it sounds I like the CLA better than the C Class. The exterior just looks so much better.

The CLA screams front wheel drive. I think it is the worst thing MB has done in decades. Cheapens their brand.

Mercedes are trying hard to put people off leasing their performance cars, where as BMW tend to encourage it more. The CLA45’s are so rare that they don’t incentivise them, I’ve seen 2 in 18 months in Houston.

If you’re a student get an Impreza for way less if you need a sedan 4 door, if you want a good dual-clutch automatic a Golf GTI or R is a great all rounder. If you want something a bit more unusual an Alfa Giulia is another good performance option.

I’ve driven Honda’s for the past 5 years, so this is still an upgrade. I agree, the interior is horrendous for a entry level car. Just look a the new A Class coming out, that’s on par with an E class. Minus all the features of course.

I’m driving a 2017 Pilot now. It’s a good car, just want something sporty. I’ve always wanted a Mercedes and was hoping a dealer could give me a killer deal. I qualify for the Fleet Discount, so I was hoping it might be somewhat achievable.
