Mercedes Benz Local repair Elkton, Delaware?

Hi All,
I have a 2018 E300 with 33500 miles on it and about 5 years now, even though less miles but due to the 5 year completion I am due for A3 service dealer is asking for about $350 for it and I am sure he is going to add Brake/Rotator change (as he had asked me last servicing 7K miles back which I pushed back).
I wanted to know if any of our member friends have found a reliable local Mercedes benz repair shop who can perform the A3 (5year/50K service) plus brake change?

Any recommendations?

Thank you

How many millimeters were left on the pads at your last service?

I haven’t had a MB in a while, but if this is all Service A includes for your vehicle, you could take it anywhere. Valvoline Instant Oil Change always has deals on Groupon where we live.

### What is Service A?

With the first visit at approximately 10,000 miles or 1 years whichever comes first – and then approximately every 20,000 miles or 2 years after that - Service A includes:

  • Mercedes-Benz motor oil replacement
  • Oil filter replacement
  • Fluid level checks and corrections
  • Tire inflation check and correction
  • Brake component inspection
  • Reset maintenance counter

Thank you @trism , i think last time was around 5 mm and the latest when i had changed headlights a month back it was 2mm where he said its a must.
Also he said i may have to look at spark plugs n air filter but i could wait for 1 year since my mileage was 33k. For brakes he gave me $850 estimate.

For sure i will check with local here like valvoline as you suggested.

Use google, yelp, etc to find a good independent mechanic. They don’t need to be Mercedes specialists to do something as basic as oil changes and brakes. Just look thru reviews for someone with a reputation for being honest.

That being said don’t go to a chain without independently verifying that that particular location is a good one. The name on the outside basically means nothing.

So what are you waiting for? Do you want to take an off ramp off the highway and slide thru a red stop light at the bottom? BTDT :astonished:

How good are your tires?

@max_g thank you for your response, yep searching online for some reputated ones and found Desi Auto service in Startford NJ but far but Iam willing to drive it as this would take about 2 hours max and they offering good rate.

Yea I was not driving my car much since the last month and definitely want to get the brakes done too, so will go with get those rear brake disc/pads changed. Dearler service quoted me $850 only for rear and I am waiting on Desi Auto service to return back with quote but expecting lower may be in the $400 to $500 range.

Tires are in good shape since they were replaced about 2000 miles back so in good shape.

My parents live in Bear, De and have been using the same mechanic for the last 10-15 years. I’m not sure if they’re a German specialist or anything like that. But he’s always taken care of their service needs. You can give them a call and see if they can help.

There you go OP. Go there or a place like that (not sure how far it is since google maps doesn’t have an Elkton DE).

Doesn’t need to be a specialist for any brand to do universal stuff like fluid changes and brakes.

It’s MD technically but right across the State line.
