I sold my MB lease in beginning of August and I just got $6k MSDs back after 6 weeks of waiting. I had to call them multiple times. Basically your 3rd party payoff resulted in overpayment which you posted earlier. You need to request refund of this overpayment back to you. In my 3rd call, the CSR initiated a refund of the overpayment which was sent (after 3 weeks) through FedEx to the address on file. MBFS is the worse leasing financial service that I’ve dealt with so far. Good luck!
