Mercedes Benz Financial Lease Autopay Amount changed/too low?

I leased a car from MBFS in December, and immediately signed up for autopay. Payment #1 in January was for the amount on my lease contract $427+ $45 in tax = $472.

Yesterday, I got an letter from MBFS saying February’s auto pay amount would be $0.00.

Then today, I logged into investigate the situation and I see next months auto pay amount is $324+$34 = $358.

I will call and investigate but first wanted to see what might be going on?

Would a credit from overpaying on the first year’s registration’s costs at signing be applied back to my lease payment like this?

Yes, it can be applied to your statement or be requested as a check. Check your contract and see what the monthly payment should be and what all the fees were. You can likely also find the contract on your MBFS account.

Thanks, yeah, I called and sounds like the dealership wrote a check to MBFS.

I’m not sure exactly why but MBFS seems happy so I won’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
