Mercedes Benz EQS Lease Superthread - 2

I can’t even get MB FS to email me a payoff statement lolll

I signed my lease yesterday. Turned in my 2023 450+ sedan on a one-pay lease. The car had an MSRP of $110K, and the one pay was at $18,050 signed back in March 2023. This was a 24/7500. I had 18K miles on it, so I was paying per mile.

Picked up a 2024 580 4matic sedan with an MSRP of $133,115 and a one-pay @ $21,200 also on a 24/7500. The car was new with 10 miles on it. Even though its the “same car” - it feels completely different. I went from a silver on Neva Gray to a Graphite on black/brown - and the dual motor, hyperscreen, 500 hp, etc., just creates a totally different experience. Note, AZ charges license tax based on MSRP (this is on top of sales tax) - so $3K of the one pay is just taxes.

I signed a form to be paid back five payments on the 450 (@$675 - $3375 total). I also avoided about $240/mo in excess mileage since I drive 950 miles a month.

I had this happen to me. Evidently the coolant wasn’t topped off when the car was delivered to the dealership… allegedly.

People keep harping on the payment and saying that it’s impossible to get a new EQS for $400/month. I’ve had not one but two EQS deals where MB paid me $500 in the form of wallboxes. The key to a good EQ deal is live in a state with strong consumer protections. You just float MBFS a monthly for up to 18 months at which point the defects will certainly add up to 30 days in the shop.

Thanks for actually posting a real quote, this is super helpful!

Who is paying $500 for wallboxes??

do they charge for damage though? my current eqs has all 4 rims curbed (women)

Brakes, tires as well - MB world has dealers quoting $2k+ for brakes lol

$500 is waived

When the list price is $945, $500 feels like a steal to the average person. They go fairly quick on facebook marketplace.

I should send you my wallboxes, can’t even get $400 near me.

Every single one I’ve sold have purchased their EQS through Carmax or similiar and have to have a Mercedes branded wall charger. It’s a very specific demographic.

Worried about this as well. I dropped my
450 off when I picked up my AMG and they didn’t even look at it. Hopefully no hidden charges or reduction of MSD refund coming my way.

Anyone else concerned about this?

I have this same concern - prob gonna send you a bill - I’m not sure how strict for returning buyers

I’m not paying for brakes as it’s a known problem on mb forums

That’s partially why I decided to utilize the pull ahead. I hoped they would be a little more lenient since I stuck with the brand. I have a tiny curb rash on one of the wheels but the car is in pretty good shape otherwise. Wonder how long we wait until we’re in the clear?

The dealer wasn’t the least bit concerned about my car when I dropped it off.

They are not keeping the car - getting put on a truck and sent to wherever - MB Corp will send you something

Did anyone with Neva Gray interior have issues with yellowing around the bolsters?

My dealer said that an inspector contracted by FS will come by, and usually they assess things pretty leniently. Curb rash bigger than a credit card make get a $125 charge.

I should be good then with the $500 damage waiver. Fingers crossed.
