Womp womp womp. I sent calculators and deal sheet to the ones who matter. Don’t worry
Car is on east coast.
Cali one got bought by a member on here already
You already have the deal locked and loaded - stop teasing these dudes -
Also you’re gonna get MB dealers with overloaded phone lines and inboxes
Please just post it - oh man - it’s gonna be funny - and tag benz bow tie as the dealer
You prob can’t - but Ravi can and will
No.

I can’t tease my wife so LH is entertainment lol
Take it to the dealer for a battery software/firmware upgrade (just tell them about the errors or show a photo). I just had mine done today as I was having the same errors but more regularly in the last couple of weeks which were making me nervous that the car would just die.
Has anyone replaced their brakes on the EQS vehicles and what was the cost (non-dealership if anyone has experience)? Mine are going to need changing well before my lease is up, at 6-7 mm with only 12K miles using strong recuperation.
would they be covered under warranty?
Regardless - the specials at Park Place say $400 for one axle. However, Park Place is slightly more affluent so I’d probably assume in the $300’s
Doubt it on the warranty unless they are defective, they refused to cover uneven wear on rear tires under their 1 year/12k mile new car tire warranty.
I’m in NYC area so prices are probably similar if not higher than Park Place which is why I’m looking to avoid dealer when the time comes.
That makes sense. I would just check nearby service specials and probably be prepared to drive. I’m not sure how 3rd party doing the brake job would work, because I’m not sure if it would be the same to an ICE car or different with all of the blended braking components
I researched brake pad replacement for my EQS 580 SUV. Pads from the dealer quoted at $1100 front and $500 rear. Same pads from a discount MB parts site were around $550/$200. There are also some generic pads starting to come out, I’ve seen offerings from Bosch as an example, but availability is limited and model specific.
Labor costs would be on top of these parts costs. From what I’ve heard, it’s not much different than any other MB given the rotors stay on. I have an EV shop in PA that I’m planning to use when it’s time.
I am assuming your measurement is on the rear axle? MB told me the pads should last 100K miles at the 40k mile service (I’m at 45k).
Front and rear. I’m doubtful on that claim by the dealer about lasting to 100K miles. From what I know, non-Tesla EVs mostly use a mix of friction and regen braking so they won’t last as long. Type of commute/driving makes a big difference though as mine is 60-70% stop and go traffic with rest highway.
I usually buy my own parts so it’s good to see variety coming out. What’s the name of the EV shop in PA?
Do you not use strong or intelligent regen modes?
How much months left are on your lease? If its < 7 months or so I would probably just look into getting a new EQS
If you use the 5 month pull ahead on a one-pay are you refunded the 5 months?
Apparently. My deal tomorrow depends on this lol.
GSM is involved since no one knows answer
Yes, up to 5 prorated payments will be refunded by MBFS . I have one pay as well with lease ending March 18th. The dealer confirmed this today. I am swaping the eqs tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Getting another one pay for 24/7.5, $12,5k DAS plus broker fee. $118,5k EQS 450 sedan.
Why are you guys doing a one pay vs. MSDs? At buy rate the ROI of the one pay isn’t there.
