Any one else poop their pants a little using the autopilot on their eqs?
It almost made me hit a ferrari on legacy during its curves as it turned off suddenly and went little into the other lane and I believe I shat my pants. fml I’m not turning it on unless its highway.
I had to stand on the brakes once or I’d be exchanging information with a Tesla X driver who was ahead of me at 65-70 mph for quite some time and freeway just came to a halt while my EQS decided to take a nap. Locked up all four wheels, lol, been a while since that happened! Thankfully, AMG brakes and aggressive tires stopped me with plenty of room to spare. Would a 450 with all season tires do same? Not so sure.
The annoying part was when it started beeping at me and flashing red but wouldn’t apply the brakes. WHY??? As I stated before, MBZ software leaves a lot to be desired.
Did anyone figure out a way to not have the car require fingerprint detection every single time you get in the car? I’d get it if its a few times a month but every startup gets annoying.
I just paid for down payment and car should come on Tuesday but just realized that my company is on the fleet list
Will they apply, and give me a further discount ?
Is it still 3500$ for fleet and if not 2500$ discount like at the beginning of the original thread?
Feel free to always use your profile simply go to your settings and turn off Access Protection. This will disable any keypad/fingerprint/camera sensor for logging into the profile. This will leave your profile open and will not require an unlock method.
You know what’s actually hilarious is that MBZ shows speed limit on that stretch of the 405 North by the LAX as 80 mph. Most of the time 30 is a pipe dream.
Just got my EQS 2 weeks ago - today I got every error in the book pop up on the dash - car won’t move - had it towed to my local dealer (not were I leased from) will they give me a loaner?
For real, when I drive from my house to SF, the fastest I’ll ever get is like 50. Interestingly enough my BMW i4 and EQS were pretty similar in their ability to handle stop and go and stay on the highway/interstates. But then @z0lt3c says the BMW DAPP on their more expensive cars is even better than this!
According to EV-Expert @z0lt3c , the iX, i7, and i5 have the newer DAPP computer and can do hands free driving. While the i4 has the older computer and still needs you to caress the wheel when you try to use DAPP.
These Mercedes chargers look nice, can’t wait till we get more of them.
It said they 400kwh but my car only shows 180kwh maxim, I started my charge at 55%.
Nice got my eqs from 55% to 92% for free in 30mins, I like it so far, can’t wait for more buckies to build them. I wonder if buckies will have both Tesla charger and Mercedes chargers
