Mercedes Benz EQS Lease Superthread - 1

They’re going to re-learn the lesson they should have learned before, which is holding expensive bags too long instead of clearing the floor is not a good way to run a showroom.

Unfortunately, the last decade has been really good to dealerships, and there unfortunately was a buyer willing to pay too much for their aged bags.

If you’re in Oregon, the Wilsonville MB has this deal going on loner EQS and $499/mo $499 down on the EQE.

what does this mean? If MBFS ends their support, would the 2023 models still be leased?

it’s just me or East coast MF on EQS is way worse, while incentives are similar/same to the West Coast?

Fine print states the deal excludes tax, title, license and registration fees.

they only lease to OR residents (as the fine print says)

I did say, “If you’re in Oregon”

Yeah, no sales tax in OR so that helps.
Maybe they’ll negotiate further.
Just putting info out there.

you’re right, i totally missed that :man_facepalming:

Never be the guy who gets an offer accepted that is exactly what you asked for, only to back out or continue negotiating because you don’t think it’s a good deal. This is why you do your homework first. If you didn’t think it was a good deal, you never should have offered it. It’s just a great way to burn a dealer who was willing to entertain an offer and fire back an immediate acceptance. That’s literally the dream scenario for a lease hackr.

What are ya’ll doing with your Wallboxes? I have two chargers already set up (20amp and 50amp) and am on the fence whether to upgrade the 20amp one and hardwire it in. I assume the breakers can be easily swapped for 50amp but I’d need to replace the wire with 6 gauge. Anyone else in SoCal recently DIY it or hire it out?

Did an electrician do your original install? To stay code compliant, you may need to do a NEC load calc on your site limit, and possibly another load calc on the sub-panel that houses the breakers for your EVSE’s.

But that is one of the reasons I like the Tesla Gen 3 EVSEs. They can load-balance between each other, so even if you upgrade from 1 to 3 of them, you can configure them to not exceed the 48A full energy draw from one unit.

It could be exactly what I asked for because they are saying 20% off MSRP, but the reality is that my numbers doesn’t add up to what they are saying, so thats the purpose of my post, to see where is the discrepancy.
Fees and that negative value in Dealers Cash make me suspicious.

My calculator is there even with their fees there’s something wrong with that “20% OFF”

You could open LLC in OR to get it done.

I opened foreign office for my LLC in OR for CCAP Carb Rebates. No issues.

I am going to flip it to my home state once the plates come in.

OR’s department of revenue doesn’t get pissed that you’re constantly filing operating losses acquiring fixed assets but show no revenue coming in?

Well, Wagoneer and Wrangler are the only cars I have done so far. I don’t plan on doing anything else… unless EQE AMG pops up lol

I just file annual filing for each state (Total around $1000 per year across the 8 states). I don’t need to do business there per say.

I asked this in another thread, but will the plate runners for the dealer do the registration for you without you having to physically go to Oregon? I am thinking of doing this but in NM.

Lol this stuff is going to be landfilled so fast.

Yeah they should but I actually called OR directly and gave them the paperwork directly vs runner. I bought the Jeeps from Gupton so they send you paperwork instead of runner service.

Should have a thread called…
