Any loaner EQE available? NJ no tax state
I don’t have any currently.
What sucks is Envision has the city of Sacramento captive since they own the 3 dealerships up there. I guess none of the brokers on LH have MB-units coming out of Sac.
It’s not like you are that far from either SF (walnut creek) or any of the LA dealers. Take the $70 flight one way and pick up your car or have to shipped to save a few thousand over 13 months.
24 mo lease. 7500 mi/year
MSRP 142640
Sale Price 117269 (including incentives)
Base Monthly Rental 1557.99 (plus tax)
Acquisition Fee, Title Fees, Doc Fees not capitalized 3848.44
probably not the best deal but
I’m not talking about people here on LH. I’m talking about a bunch of folks who live in Sac who are probably getting massively f*cked because Envision bought up all the MB dealers up there and those folks are overpaying.
The reality is that many people do not do any research, walk into the dealership, point at the white one with the black interior, and over pay. It has nothing to do with Envision, it’s just the reality of most car purchases. With that being said, Envision did destroy the PPF on my convertible and back it into a pole, so I have no warm fuzzy feelings for them either.
Every dealership makes their own pricing decision and has their own motivations. It could be their max. Try it with 10 more dealers and you’ll figure out if it’s everyone’s max or not (it isn’t).
You have to balance the discount with the cost of transporting the car to your location and/or Bork we payment as well.
Thanks, the dealer is only 45 min away, i contacted a lot of dealers before, not that many were willing to negotiate. I suppose I will contact more places.
In Florida AutoNation bought up all the dealerships. It would be the last place I’d look for a deal.
All 3 MB dealerships were used to owned by a company and envision bought all 3 dealership from that company in last January. I think MB should not allow this type monopoly market is a metro area.
I highly recommend GLE/S + EQS wombo-combo too. GLS is best for families and long trips. ICE/gas is way easier to get and there’s no BS charging malarkey to get in the way.
PS, you need to get an artificial turf lawn man… your lawn is lookin kinda brown.
Man I know. It’s been sunny forever here in NC. It’s a new build home so many people said first year won’t be best. My landscaper went MIA so no idea how to do it. Maybe once it cools down, I will treat it myself
numbers on the GLS?
Seats 7, has two motorized sun shades, and gets about 15 mpg.
If you’re in Bay Area Northern California, the days supply is about 3 days. So good luck finding one unless you order it. No lease, no incentives, no joke.
Wasn’t planning on getting one, but did you look into navigator and other 7 seaters? Curious as to what the best 7 seater is, apart from a minvan of course ![]()
No joke. And they don’t sell out of their local market
Oh, we were about to get a BMW X7 (xDrive40) with Executive Package (motorized rear sun shades are so good!!!). These things need to be standard equipment for any large 7 passenger car.
But the X7 infotainment sucked (“hey BMW” refused to work). Then the car was way too loud because we couldn’t dial down the HVAC fan no matter what the sales guy tried to do from the shotgun seat. And the rear split-folding hatch/gate thing got stuck while the sales guy was showing off the car. Needless to say no BMW.
Personally the domestic offerings (that aren’t Escalade/Yukon) don’t compare well. The combination of ride/interior/UX is sub-par compared to the BMW/MB. And the Escalade/Yukon is too big to park in our garage. Audi Q7 is too small, and she doesn’t like the Lexus GX because it’s on its way out and feels very dated inside at this time.
And Tesla Model X is a piece of crap. Terrible service and the Tesla build quality blows. Don’t buy a trash-azz Tesla with your hard earned money (I’m saying this from firsthand experience since these were the cars that we had just a few months before the GLS and EQS).
PS, the two Mercedes costs $500 per month less than the two Teslas. GLS is about $500 a month less than the Model X. And the EQS has the same effective monthly as the Model 3. Best part is I’m not going to get stuck bag-holding a garbage BEV residual any more. Thanks US Taxpayers!
Ya know I’ve been in and out of this thread over the past few weeks and not 1 single “decent” deal.
A lot of back and forth over nonsense and dealers not playing ball, etc
Safe to say EQS deal is over.
