Do all EQSs come with flimsy windshield wipers? Doesn’t seem like it’s as sturdy as it should be. Remember those days when Mercedes had one big wiper in the middle that could wipe anything you wanted to.
Mine is also flimsy - I thought there was something wrong, the movement is not smooth and makes noise.
Exactly this. My drivers side wiper “chatters” slightly . It really should be a nice clean pass on a new car. Not sure if it’s the wipers or windshield
And yes, I remember the one wiper blade in the middle on the w124s . One of the best cars I ever owned .
Leasing an EQE right now and rather disappointed with the amount of creaks/rattle that I can hear in the cabin. Seems like Mercedes cut a lot of corners for such an expensive vehicles, forgoing solid materials in favor of cheap plastics and “cool” RGB lights. This is in sharp contrast to my mothers’ 2023 RX450h where everything feels solid and well put together.
Still better than Tesla haha EQS seems to be fine with no rattles

I did not notice any rattles or squeaks in our EQE, unlike our current and precious Teslas. The wipers are definitely thin, but then they needed to lower the weight of the EVs. If we want to talk about compromises, sacrificing the look for aerodynamics is the biggest one. If only the EQs could ressemble the concept more closely people would be all over them.

This is a significant improvement to the benefit IMO. I had not received an app notification so I was wondering if this was rolling out to just a few folks or everyone.
I called Electrify America this afternoon and they confirmed that this is true. There will be no 30-minute charging limits between now and 10/31/23. You can charge for more than 30 minutes without cost. I didn’t confirm all the models this qualifies for but I did confirm my EQE350 qualifies.
If you have any concern, it may be worth it to charge for 31 minutes and see if you get charged a minimal amount for going over 30 minutes or of the 31st+ minute is credited as well.

It is honestly bad perk. This will encourage people to hog high speed chargers, when people really need them when traveling. I traveled from NJ to SC and back and 30 mins was always enough to charge to 80-86%.
