For the PenFed bonus cash, do we need to get the car through the PenFed website or simply show the dealer that we are members? Thanks.
Print your certificate with unique code number.
No bueno! You’re paying almost twice as much from a friend of a friend.
You are rolling negative $3k into the deal. Sell that car separately if possible.
Wish I could get a deal that is comparable to Apr/Mar on a EQS SUV.
Can you tell me where you located and where is the dealer located? I am in Northern California and looking for a EQS 450 sedan but no one willing to offer at this price. The lowest i can get was $750 plus tax with $4k drive off.
Edmunds saying 2022 EQS lease support dead?
I presented my offer to the dealer and they said:
Looks like you are double dipping the fleet incentive… the 4500 affinity is already included in the selling price of 100581.62… the additional 9k goes on the rebate line.
Should they be taking the affinity off the selling price?
MSRP 117020
selling price 100581.62 ( including 4500 affinity fleet)
additional rebates are 1500 ( eq conquest and 7500 lease bonus cash) which brings net selling price to 91581.62
13 months
money factor assuming you have perfect credit is .00325
72% residual at 7500 miles per year
4955.00 total due at signing ( including taxes fees first payment etc )
$1140.32
99% dealers include that fleet/dealercash etc in the frontend discount, this is normal how they do it. Should they? No but they do anyways.
So what’s your % discount before the $4,500?
There is nothing wrong with rolling it into the backend and it saves you on taxes in some states. Issues is that you need a bigger discount before Affinity is applied.
only 10% - I’m still push to find out what are the fees and no answer from the dealer yet.
You don’t need any answer beyond that. Move on.
Start making offers and stop soliciting.
you’re right. I’ve already started pinging others with offers
But then… dealers are not going aggressive as MB took the bonus money out of the equation.
Are you allowed to disclose bonus money? Curious how substantially this can affect the discounts.
It’s like $5,000 on each EQSs and $1,000 on each EQEs and EQBs. At least that’s what I had heard yesterday from the Area Manager
Just heard from a dealer that MB does not have any more programs for 2022…so looks like Edmunds is right
I’m not sure if he’s allowed to disclose or not but @AutoNinjas told us to expect a 4% discount so play with the calculator.
Assuming 18% was the best anyone got on a 22, try the numbers at 14%
Some states require it to be processed that way. GAAP standard for book keeping to avoid artificially inflating dealer revenues
