Likely some combination of acq fee, first month, and/or rebate tax/CCR. $2k is a typical amount due at signing.

Diff is $1,950 so…

LLC of a company I started.

Also the additional $1,950 for those items in costing $50 more a month on the lease doesn’t make sense to me. Since that’s $1200 in 24 months.

dude, …its amortized. If the cars residual at end of lease, is say 60%, you are only paying 40% of the add ons, plus interest and tax on it. jeez

I understand that.
However if you’re only doing a 2 year lease, doesn’t make sense that 80% of it is amortized in those two years. Should be much less.

dude… do you even… realize how leasing math works?
The amount you pay, in 2 or 3 years or whatever the lease term is, 1-RV in %. Plus taxes and interest on that amount

Any Amex card (or Sam’s membership?). Also Penfed CU and affinity plans thru certain employers, professional orgs or even banks/brokers offer fleet discounts on certain models. Your LLC won’t help here.

@johnmolani has a point as the cheaper car seems to be discounted deeper to explain $60/mo difference.

Assuming your 60% RV, you’d amortize $1950 x .4 = $780/24 mos = $32.5 plus interest.

In this particular case, it seems that dollar discount on two cars is almost identical resulting in a better deal on a cheaper car.

The deals are mostly 7,500 miles per year, because MB only charges $0.25 per mile over, it is cheaper to pay the penalty than paying higher monthly payment. Often MB would forgive excess miles if you lease another one from them, or you can sell at any time to a 3rd party, avoid the excess miles issue.

Please correct me if I am wrong about any of the above.
