This is inherently confusing. If you advertise $0 broker fee, then no money should be coming to you from the customer, period. If you advertise a DAS, that is due to the dealer, so charge backs and transaction fees are not your problem. So which one is it?
Again, it was in reference to that particular deal. Hope that clears some of the confusion.
There are deals where we do collect shipping from clients via cc as well for things such as shipping from NorCal to SoCal (Vice Versa) as typically dealers do not want to be bothered with that payment collection and we are on top of setting up trucking at a more efficient pace.
Then update your deals to reflect no shipping and shipping through your brokerage as an add on, itās not rocket surgery.
Yes I will add a line for shipping charges between NorCal and SoCal. Unfortunately for other regions such as South and Midwest it varies quite a bit per state so we always inform clients what the shipping cost is if they are inquiring out of the state of the vehicle location.
I have also added another line regarding broker fee to clear confusion and removed the glc deal due to its confusing nature.
Thank you @calidude and @Jon for bringing this to our attention.
@LuxConcierge, per the Marketplace Guidelines, any deal that requires a broker fee paid by the customer must be disclosed for that deal. Please ensure continued compliance with this rule for every deal moving forward. Thank you.
Why did you delete your feedback?
He had the smoking gun and waited for the perfect moment to drop itā¦then deletes it
@mattevan I spoke to @calidude directly and cleared up miscommunications regarding the deal and apologized for the tone of our message that may have came off strong. He felt the solution was appropriate so he deleted his messages.
I also offered to make the deal and handle it directly myself at a rate that was even lower than our advertised quote (by approximately $10 a month effective).

Got it. You bribed the customer. Thanks for clearing up.
No I am still not leasing the car from Lux. Already leased from elsewhere.
I felt the clarification provided was appropriate and nothing personal. Not my intent for them to lose business if they genuinely accept their mistake.
@mattevan not a bribe then right
My b homie. I shouldāve known the deal collapsed and called it a āfailed bribeā. Mea culpa!
Mazel to all, great stuff here.
At the end of the day, my goal as a brokerage is to ensure clientele are taken care of. We canāt have a perfect interaction 100% of the time, we are human. Mistakes can occur and I have always used my utmost effort to correct those mistakes and ensure clients are taken care of especially those from the forum as Iāve been a hackr myself since 2017 and enjoy the hunt for a deal just as much as anyone else here.
Other than AAA/Sams/Fleet, are these payments with or without MSDs? If so, how many MSD are these payments based on?
These payments are without MSDs, we are happy to work a quote with MSDs if you would like. Just reach out to us directly!
I see youāve added the GLC deal back. Is that entire $3500 DAS amount paid directly to the dealer?
It is not the same GLC deal. Different description (driver assist car), different monthly, etc.
Yes. Thank you for confirming.
You didnāt answer the question. Is the entire DAS amount paid to the dealer?
I did answer the question. Feel free to private message me for any further clarifications moving forward, rather than bumping the thread with repeat questions.
Any deals on EQS?
