MB PrePaid Maintenance - How Much?

Hi All-
Just started hacking a deal with a dealer on a 21 C300 Loaner.
I asked for the PPM to be added. It’s listed as $1680. Is that accurate?
The PPM on my current '18 C300 loaner was $1020.
Did the price go up that much in 3 years? Or was it discounted on my original lease?

And if I’m reading the MB site correctly, there is a 2 year option. Now if I’m leasing a car to 3 years, and take the car in for scheduled service at end of year 1 and end of year 2, and turning the car in at the end of year 3, why would i take the car in for service just as i’m turning it in (or turning it in early through a pull ahead program)? Does it make more sense to get a 2 year plan? Am I understanding this correctly?
Thanks!

For my GLE lease I ended up going with the 3 year my 3 year lease. After the fact I realized that the very last service would not be needed depending on the timing/miles. However, at the end of the lease if the car says it needs service and you fail to do the last service, they will charge you for it.

My GLE lease contract shows the 3 year PPM is 1640. If it were me I would do the 2 year PPM and make sure the mileage and timing ends up covering the lease. Also Mercedes always looks to pull you out of your lease 3-6 months early so it should work with a 2 year PPM plan.

thanks.
so is PPD Maint something that can be marked up by the dealer? or is this a fixed rate/plan from MB?
and is it negotiable?
still curious as to why my current 3yr maintenance plan was $1020.

It can definitely be marked up and negotiated on. I believe I negotiated 3 yrs to ~$900 last year on my E300. Then I told them I only wanted 2 yrs for the same reason as mentioned above. So $600, which is then residualized.

I returned my E300 about two months ago and I did my own oil changes for the three year lease term. I had an Autovin inspection and they didn’t ask for any receipts. I got a clean report from them and returned the car to the dealer. They just verified the service engine light was not on and I was good to go. My total cost for maintenance in the three years was about $400 and that included a dealer brake fluid flush and alignment. You can get maintenance done much cheaper from an independent shop if you are not a DIYer.
