Sorry if this is covered somewhere but I’m not having any luck with my specific question…
Autovinlive just did a lease end pre-inspection for my Mercedes and in the picture gallery there is a “Damages” section, and there are photos of every panel with the paint thickness gauge reading as well as saying:
Damage Description: “Previous Repair”
Action: “Repair”
Estimate: $0.00
For every single panel… is this normal? Or did the inspector put the images in the wrong “section”?
This is most likely just the inspector making note that they checked every panel for paint thickness. If any were below whatever threshold is set by MBFS, then you would see a damage charge.
As long as your damage charges are $0 then nothing to worry about.
Leased brand new off the lot, had to have the wrap removed from a lot of the trim pieces even so hoping just making note on paint thickness as mentioned above.
Just seemed odd to see “previous repair” and triggered a bit of panic
