Those have like 12k in bonus cash, which I would guess is included in the sell price you listed. If my math is correct, thats about a 14% pre incentive discount. I would be pushing for close to 20% pre incentive.

If you are not a supporter, I would highly recommend so you can see all incentives you qualify for..

thank you - im looking but trying to understand what im looking for…
I do appreciate your takign the time to reply!

Thanks Yahyahs! good to know. I will join now!

Disclaimer, I don’t know how’s the incentive this month but $0 DAS and $200-300 is not unheard of for loaner eqb.

Is the RV the same as 24 mo? Just wondering what the advantage of a 30-mo term would be (I don’t think we see that often around here).

The monthly discount provided by the rebate is reduced w/ a longer term…

thanks 9benua. im trying to undertsand it all and thats wahat i was thinking - 0 DAS and closer to $200 a month. I was thinkng about the Acura ZDX but the MBZ dealer is close to home here.

Trying to find the current incentive / dealer cash but cannot…

paranoid… thanks for replying! I actually told the dealer 24 months and he just gave me 30 and 36 likely becuase he wasnt listening all taht well. He gave me a residual lvalue of 30,437 fo teh 36 month lease for which the monthly payment would be 391.

At this point im trying to understadn what they are proposing and where we can make the deal better - or acceptable!

Try your hand at the calculator and take a look at what brokers in the Marketplace are offering.

In May, I think 30 month was the best program. Not sure this month is the same but perhaps that’s why they quoted you on those terms??

not sure about the time period i think we would prefer the 24 month deal though.

I saw in the site here that there are mftr incentive to teh dealer - my saleman says no and im trying to sort out what that is. i think ive gotten familiar enough with the calculator and i built an excel spreadsheet as well to rpesent a deal on the car. Id rather not put 3000 down to lower cap cost and want to get them to apply the incentive cash. They are makign a big deal about the sicount of 21738 off msrp but that is thevalue of the car with the amount based on an online search of smiilarly equipped cars - there are plenty available at that advertised price and with much less miles. I also wonder f they are applying a proper deduction fort eh high miles alread on this car.

Im not sure how to determine if the residual is accurate

If you put the demo miles into the calculator it will calculate the adjusted residual. I think for Mercedes, anything over 3k miles, the residual gets adjusted by .20 cents (so for 5,100 demo miles, residual is adjusted lower by $420).

If 24 months is your preference, roll with it but I think your payment would be lower by $30-$40 per month with a 30 month term.

I would present them with a realistic deal based on what’s in the marketplace and if they say no, then move on.

If you join as a Super Supporter, you can access Ratefindr to look that info (or ask on the pertinent Edmunds for free).

Then plug that info into the calculator to see what you get…
