Mazda CX5: Touring with PP or Grand Touring?!

Should I get the Touring with PP or Grand Touring?

My quotes are within $10 of each other, but the cars themselves seem so similar. The only difference I see is the leather v leatherette and the size of the rims… is there something I’m not seeing?

GT adds the following to Touring:

  • LED fog lights
  • LED Combination taillights
  • Adaptive Front-lighting System
  • Power sliding-glass moonroof with one-touch-open feature and interior sunshade
  • Rear Power Liftgate with programmable height adjustment20
  • Leather-trimmed seats
  • 8-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support and 2-position memory
  • 6-way power passenger seat
  • Auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink®21
  • Bose® 10-speaker audio sound system with Centerpoint® 2 and AudioPilot® 2
  • Mazda Navigation System
  • SiriusXM® Satellite Radio with 3-month trial subscription22
  • SiriusXM® 3-year Traffic and Travel Link subscription22 includes current information for:
    • Traffic
    • Weather
    • Sports scores
    • Fuel prices
    • Nearby parking or parking by destination

Touring with PP has the Bose, moonroof, power tailgate, and auto dimming mirror of the GT. Personally I’d pay the extra $10/month just for the 19” wheels, but everyone values things differently.

I went with the GT as I found the seats to be more comfortable (8-way power vs. 6-way power).

Of course the wheels are nicer too :grinning:

I would get the GT for the heated mirrors alone. This is coming from a mid-westerner so may not matter as much to you.

Doesn’t get nearly as cold here in the philly area  thanks for your input!

I just test drove it, I didn’t feel too much of a difference but I could see what you’re saying

The headlights make a HUGE difference if you drive at night. Easily worth the $10/month.

Eeeek I wish I could see a pic of the difference! I’ve only ever gone to the dealership during the day
